Powers up and successfully completed a heating and cooling cycle. During the Cycle Performance Test, the unit displays the following error message: “An instrument error occurred during the test. The test has been aborted prematurely.” The sample block has recorded over 22,000 operating hours. After operating for some time, the unit shuts down due to the thermal fuse. Sold as defective or for repair. Calibration status unknown. Refer to photos.
